Sheila joined this group as soon as she retired from employment with Interior Health.  She brings some healthcare administration experience, project coordination, and banking / financial planning background.  Retired rural girl through and through.

Leanne has been a dedicated nurse at Ashcroft Health Site since Feb 1985

She retired in July 2018.

Since retiring she is finding her way to volunteer in areas that use her career skills, and also discovering new activities that interest her.

She served as a volunteer helping the victims of the 2017 wildfires, and is finding opportunities to serve with the Red Cross emergency management  since then.

Secretary / Treasurer

Donna has enjoyed raising a family, working and volunteering in Ashcroft for the last 40 years. She joined HAWC June 2018 with the hope that her experience of 3 terms as an Ashcroft Village Councillor would help bring the community's health care concerns to Interior Health and in turn, help with working towards a sustainable 7 day a week heath care model that includes emergency services.

Membership Director

Jackie was born and raised in Cache Creek. She left for 14 years, returning in 1997

She was a RN from 1986-2019 in a variety of roles, from acute care (med/surg), cardiac care, ICU, ER, PAR, pediatrics, maternity, public health, home care, outpost nursing, and teaching at Thompson Career College and NVIT.  

Jacquie resides in Ashcroft with her partner Raymond.  Together they have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren.
