Hospice Services
Hospice Services
Hospice services are available to families of, and adults living with a life limiting illness who have an anticipated prognosis of less than 6-12 months.
TRAINED VOLUNTEERS
- are available to come into your home and provide scheduled respite, compassionate companionship
- are available to come into Jackson House to assist in the companionship of your loved one on their end of life journey.
- are in the communities of Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, Spences Bridge and surrounding areas (as available)
- helping to assist patients and families with the physical, psycho-social, emotional and spiritual suffering.
- share information on addressing end of life issues.
- focus on the quality of life until the moment of death

Volunteer - Men and Women Welcome
Training is provided for the following services.
- Sitting with palliative individuals
- providing bereavement support
- offering companionship with simple presence
- empathetic listening
- activities such as reading or playing cards.
